Maggie has a goal to get every teen girl active.
Maggie believes that every teen girl be active in a way that suits them. There is a physical sport or activity that we can all find enjoyable. Taking part in something active helps teenage girls feel capable of doing other things, when girls feel capable they have more confidence and self-esteem. Exercise can make teenage girls more resilient and able to deal with success or failure.
In addition Maggie believes that food has a massive impact on everything.
Maggie has spent the last four years working with teenage girls to deliver fitness and nutrition sessions. Together with her own experiences as a teenager this has led to an understanding of why so many choose not to exercise.
This understanding has enabled Maggie to put together programmes that work. She has helped teenage girls who stated they "don't do exercise" to rediscover that exercise is fun. She has delivered bite sized nutritional advice that the girls can easily implement into their busy lives.
Maggie is passionate about supporting teenage girls to live healthy and fulfilling lives.
